What is the measurement technique?

We use dry stick technology for measuring the three parameters.

What are the 3 parameters progesterone, LDH and BHB ? Why are these parameters selected and what do they show?

Progesterone (a hormone) was selected to detect heat, pregnancy, cysts, anoestrus and abortion.
LDH (an enzyme) was selected to show early indication of mastitis for proactive treatment of mastitis.
BHB (a ketone body) is selected primarily to show sub-clinical and clinical ketosis, secondly to find other abnormalities which will impair the metabolism of the cow.

Can I buy one or two parameters instead of the whole system?

That is not possible.

To be able to maximize the performance of the solution, the system should be used to its full extent.

Why is fat & protein not included in the Herd Navigator?

Based on market research we have focused on the most important challenges in dairy farming: reproduction, mastitis, metabolic disorder and feeding.

Fat & protein on-farm analysis will be offered at a future release as an option to the Herd Navigator concept.
